Meditation for workplaces

Simply put meditation in the workplace creates inner calm, deeper concentration and an opportunity to tap into fresh, new ideas.

Workplace goals are outward facing. Meditation is an inward focusing activity. I believe both are needed to create balanced, creative workplaces.

Read on to see some agendas for how I have worked together with workplaces to create an inner calmness for people in busy environments. These agendas were co-created based on themes and issues the teams were facing.

Why a meditation workshop for your workplace is a very good idea
These workshops give an opportunity to get quiet and get to know the world inside yourself, the world you experience when you close your eyes.

This inner world is just as real and large as the world you see when you have your eyes open. Participants can be completely new to meditation or have some experience of meditating, all will have an experience that is completely unique to them. You will be guided and be held with sincere loving support.

During the workshops there is the possibility to cover topics such us our breath, sleep, dancing, benefits of meditation and feeling light-hearted. It is recommended you dress comfortably.

I offer meditation in the workplace as a release from all the ‘noise’ and daily demands. It is an opportunity to cleanse and start afresh with renewed energy and clarity.

Workplaces can be full of stresses and emotions that do not get expressed. Employees become the containers for these stresses and emotions. And your body can only contain so much. This can lead to employees being sick, employees needing stress leave or loss of talented employees. Workplace goals are outward facing. Meditation is an inward focusing activity. Both are needed to create balanced, creative workplaces.

During meditation it is possible for you to release some of the unexpressed emotions and stresses that are taken on in a typical workday. Meditation in the workplace creates inner calm, deeper concentration and an opportunity to tap into fresh, new ideas. Furthermore, employees can experience less stress and better sleep patterns.

I have meditated regularly for over 10 years. I have also been in busy workplaces for many years and I have both an academic and spiritual background. I use all these experiences to make meditation easy for you. Invite me to one of your team meetings or events, spend some hours with me and notice the impact it has on your team or company.
