What is Healing?

Healing is a completely natural and incredibly powerful process. It is a positive flow of energy that I open up for, which then flows to you; it deals with imbalances at a deep level. The energy vibrates and goes to where it is most needed. Just like the food you eat, the goodness goes to where it is needed without you having to think about it. Healing frees your natural resources to work in the best way for you. The only thing you have to do is absolutely nothing, relax and trust.

What Happens During A Healing Session?
You will be invited to relax and close your eyes. I use my hands at a short distance from your body, or sometimes with a light touch, Usually you will be aware that something is happening. All clients have a unique experience, some of the responses include: a variety of sensations, perhaps warmth or coolness, tingling and pressure, or pain coming to the surface (and often dispersing) as the energy goes to work.foto

What Can Healing Do?

Healing can be helpful with a wide range of conditions, sometimes to a remarkable degree. It is a process of revitalisation, relaxation and release at a profound level, which helps your body to adjust and heal spontaneously at its own pace and in its own way. Healing seeks out the underlying cause as well as the “presenting symptom”. This can mean that the outcome of a healing session maybe beneficial in an unexpected way and not necessarily immediately; for example you may feel a sudden benefit days later or gradual improvement over a period of time. There may be times when you experience some kind of emotional release as part of the healing process. Sometimes the process is obvious, sometimes more subtle.

What if I am not sick?

Healing is about restoring balance to your life and in your relationships with others, about expressing feelings, about change and the need for it. It often helps bring a sense of proportion and perspective and a greater feeling of being grounded, of regaining control, regardless of whether you are ill or not. It can also be especially helpful in crisis situations and with illness. It is first and foremost a process to help you to help yourself.

How will I know it is working?

Anything from two sessions up to a series of 5-6 regular sessions will be sufficient to convince you beyond doubt that improvements have occurred since your first visit. You may feel lighter and brighter, more positive in attitude and notice happy coincidences occurring in your life. Clients have told of improvements with physical problems, depression and stress.

Is healing harmful?

Healing is so gentle it cannot do any harm. On rare occasions, clients may feel worse for a few days before improving, but this is part of the healing process where deep stress is being released. When this happens, rest and relax to allow the process to work. If you are concerned you are welcome to contact me.

What will happen at my first session?

We will have a dialogue about what brings you to a healing session and I will answer any questions that you may have. Then you simply sit in a chair or lie on a healing bed in a relaxing environment whilst I work around you, either with a light touch or none at all – it is your choice. It is quite normal to feel tingling, heat, coolness or even discomfort coming to the surface to be released as the healing energy works. Or you might feel nothing at all – it makes no difference to the outcome. All you have to do is relax as much as you can during the session and allow it to happen. Clients feel very relaxed afterwards, which is an outward sign of inner improvement.
